Pegwell Bay near Sandwich – Sandwich is a historic and ancient town in the county of Kent, England. Before the River Stour silted up (a few hundred years ago), the Cinque Port of Sandwich was one of the main ports of the UK. Today, the sailing ships have been replaced by small boats, but the many ancient buildings make it one of the best preserved medieval towns in England.
